Every year, VIF takes on placement students. We adopt the same standards when recruiting them as with new staff and the process is the same: application by email, a series of interviews, technical tests and a graphology test.

Placements - tutored project management

Placements involve a project to be completed by students. Tasks include analysing requirements, seeking and proposing solutions, and finally seeing the project through to completion. A VIF tutor is responsible for introducing you to the company and teaching you VIF's various specialist trades and the technologies used.
Several students have been offered permanent positions at VIF following their placement.

Cooperation with higher education institutions

VIF regularly employs students on end-of-course placements, gives lectures or works in close partnership with several institutions, including Miage in Nantes, the engineering school Ecole de Mines in Nantes, Polytech’Nantes, Insa in Rennes, Centrale in Nantes, Enitiaa, Agrocampus Rennes and Enita in Clermont-Ferrand.
